The Ice and Snow World is the core venue of the Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival and the world’s largest ice and snow-themed amusement park. Since its inaugural opening in 1999, the park has opened its doors every winter (typically from December through the end of February the following year). The park uses natural ice blocks from the Songhua River to craft a magnificent complex of ice sculptures, integrating ice architecture, snow sculpture art, and ice and snow amusement attractions.

Northern China's Ice Wonders

Each year, the park meticulously crafts the main castle tower, a European-style ice palace, and a collection of distinctive ice sculptures. Under clear skies, the crystal-clear ice blocks shimmer with transparency; after dark, thousands of colorful lights encircle the ice structures, creating a dazzling display of light—a must-see landmark for visitors.
